How to convert NOK to CNY
A NOK to CNY conversion is arithmetic, not guesswork — multiply and you are done. On 18 August 2026 that rate is 0.715625, so:
CNY = NOK × 0.715625
Backwards works identically — divide by 0.715625, or multiply by 1.3974. One Chinese Yuan comes to 1.3974 Norwegian Kroner.
The converter at the top of this page does both directions and updates as you type. Every result is recalculated on the server as well, so the number you see is the number that gets stored.
About the Norwegian Krone and the Chinese Yuan
The Norwegian Krone (NOK, symbol kr) is the currency of Norway. The Chinese Yuan (CNY, symbol ¥) is the currency of China.
The two are quoted against each other constantly, so the rate moves throughout the trading day. The feed publishes mid-market figures, which is what financial reporting cites. Actual exchange costs a margin on top.

A price tag. Something marked kr50 comes to 35.7813 CNY. Round to 36 CNY for a quick mental check while you are standing in the shop.
A monthly salary. kr3,000 a month is 2146.88 CNY — useful when you are comparing a job offer across the two markets. Bear in mind the rate moves, so a figure agreed today will not be the figure paid out in six months.
Going the other way. If you are holding ¥1,000 and want to know what it buys in Norwegian Kroner, that is 1397.38 NOK. The converter handles both directions — use the swap button between the two fields.
Watch the margin. At a bureau charging 3%, your kr500 would fetch roughly 347.08 CNY instead of 357.81 CNY. That gap is what the mid-market rate on this page lets you spot.

No — treat it as the reference point, not the offer. Exchange desks quote a spread around the mid-market rate and keep the difference. Comparing their quote with the figure above tells you what the convenience is costing you.
