How to convert EUR to TRY
There is only one number you need to convert EUR to TRY: the rate the market is quoting. On 18 August 2026 that rate is 55.4895, so:
TRY = EUR × 55.4895
To go from TRY back to EUR, divide by the same rate. Put another way, 0.018021 Euros to the Turkish Lira.
The converter at the top of this page does both directions and updates as you type. Every result is recalculated on the server as well, so the number you see is the number that gets stored.
About the Euro and the Turkish Lira
The Euro (EUR, symbol €) is the currency of the eurozone. The Turkish Lira (TRY, symbol ₺) is the currency of Turkey.
The two are quoted against each other constantly, so the rate moves throughout the trading day. These are reference rates rather than dealing rates. Treat them as the benchmark you measure an offer against.

A price tag. Something marked €50 comes to 2774.47 TRY. Round to 2,774 TRY for a quick mental check while you are standing in the shop.
A monthly salary. €3,000 a month is 166468.47 TRY — useful when you are comparing a job offer across the two markets. Bear in mind the rate moves, so a figure agreed today will not be the figure paid out in six months.
Going the other way. If you are holding ₺1,000 and want to know what it buys in Euros, that is 18.0214 EUR. The converter handles both directions — use the swap button between the two fields.

No — treat it as the reference point, not the offer. Exchange desks quote a spread around the mid-market rate and keep the difference. Comparing their quote with the figure above tells you what the convenience is costing you.
